Short-Term Planning -The enforcement
and compliance assurance program has a variety of documents which
set program direction over a two to three year time period. These
documents translate the longer term strategic plan into more immediate
work plan efforts. The primary guidance document that the enforcement
and compliance assurance program uses for this purpose is the
National Program Managers Guidance.
Long-Term Planning - This sub-topic
includes documents which have a longer term horizon (generally
a 3-5 year time period) and includes the enforcement and compliance
component of the EPA
Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan presents a broader discussion of program
goals and objectives.
