Compliance and Enforcement Reports
The accomplishments of the enforcement
and compliance assurance programs are reported in a variety of documents
listed below.
OECA
Accomplishments
The enforcement and compliance assurance program Accomplishment Report
documents compliance activity and achievements during the fiscal year.
The report provides a summary discussion of national results by category
of activity, and highlights specific cases, pilot projects or trend data
through narrative and graphs.
End
of the Year
Each year EPA issues a press release or public statement that highlights
the results of enforcement and compliance assurance activity during the
past fiscal year. A more complete discussion of the program results can
be found in the enforcement and compliance assurance Accomplishment Reports.
Federal
Facilities Accomplishments
Federal facilities, like all other regulated facilities, are responsible
for complying with environmental requirements. Each year EPA writes a
Federal Facilities Enforcement & Accomplishments Report, which discusses
the goals and accomplishments for that particular year.
Measures
of Success
This is an annual report of key performance measures identified in the
Reporting for Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Priorities (RECAP)
document. This report includes limited narrative and extensively utilizes
charts and graphs to depict progress and results.
National Public Water Systems
Compliance Report
Each year EPA reports about drinking water violations at American's public
water system (PWS). Each report summarizes the annual report prepared
by each State about drinking water violations at PWSs within its jurisdiction.
Each report also discusses the violations at public water systems on Indian
reservations; EPA's enforcement and compliance assistance activities with
respect to Tribal PWSs; and the financial assistance EPA has provided
to facilitate the provision of safe drinking water to Tribes.
OCEFT Management Review
Report
Reporting for Enforcement and Compliance Assurance Priorities (RECAP)
This document includes all output and outcome measures that EPA uses both
for internal and external compliance and enforcement performance measurement
evaluations. The document is updated every two years so that EPA can modify
the measures to accommodate new goals, approaches and priorities of the
enforcement program.
State
of Federal Facilities Reports
The State of Federal Facilities Reports gives an overview of compliance
rates for Federal facilities and the various compliance and enforcement
issues and problems facing Federal facilities.
