FSAFEDS Open Season
November 8 - December 13

If you're an employee who works for an Executive branch agency or an agency that has adopted the Federal Flexible Benefits Plan ("FedFlex"), you can elect to participate in the Federal Flexible Spending Accounts Program (FSAFEDS).

FSAFEDS offers two different flexible spending accounts (FSAs): a health care flexible spending account, and a dependent care flexible spending account.

We hold an open season each year at the same time as the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program open season (the November/December timeframe) during which you can enroll in an FSA for the following year.

New and newly eligible employees have 60 days after their entry on duty to enroll in this program.
