The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council consists of 26 members (PDF 109KB) appointed from key environmental justice constituencies, which include community-based groups; business and industry; academic and educational institutions; state and local governments; tribal governments and indigenous groups; and non-governmental organizations and environmental groups. The Designated Federal Officer is Charles Lee, Associate Director in the Office of Environmental Justice, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Chairperson is Veronica Eady, Tufts Unviversity.
