Recommendations
The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) provides independent advice, consultation, and recommendations to the Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on matters related to environmental justice.
The following NEJAC reports, containing advice and recommendations to the Agency, are the result of its most recent meetings: a. Advancing Environmental Justice Through Pollution Prevention: A Report developed from the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council Meeting of December 9-13, 2002 b. Fish Consumption and Environmental Justice: A Report on the Public Meeting Convened on December 3-6, 2001; c. NEJAC Report on Integration of Environmental Justice in Federal Programs: A Report on the Public Meeting Convened on December 11, 12, and 14, 2000; d. Environmental Justice and Community-Based Health Model Discussion: A Report on the Public Meeting Covened on May 23-26, 2000; and e. Environmental Justice in the Permitting Process: A Report on the Public Meeting Convened by the NEJAC November 30-December 2, 1999.
