UATW is a comprehensive "once-stop-shopping" area for rule and implementation associated with the Subpart GG, Aerospace Manufacturing and Rework Operations. The site is updated frequently. Most information on the site is EPA developed documents and technical information, however, the site does link to trade associations and state and local programs.

California Air Resource Board (CARB) Course #230.1, Surface Coating Operations: Aerospace Industries. Coating processes are addressed as they apply to the manufacturing and refurbishment of aircraft and aerospace parts. This one-day course is a combination of lecture and discussion providing an overview that includes inspection strategy, procedure, and safety concerns. Discussion topics include how aerospace coatings differ from other metal parts and product coatings, volatile organic content limits, inspection techniques, and non-punitive techniques for improving compliance rates.
