GSA’s contracts covering Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) and multipurpose Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) engineered for both street and turf and can be found under GSA Schedule 23V, special item number 023 LSV. All NEV’s under GSA Schedule 23 V meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 500.  Low speed vehicles may now be driven on community streets, if they meet certain safety criteria announced in this ruling by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Government agencies can place orders directly with vendors.
