GSA recently awarded two contracts for vans that are equipped to transport persons with physical disabilities. These vans have wheelchair lifts and tie-downs that allow various seating configurations. These vehicles meet the specifications set forth in the Federal Vehicle Standards (Standard Item 24) for full-sized wagon vans.     

The contractors for these transport vans are Main Mobility, Inc. (General Motors chassis) and Accubuilt, Inc. (Ford chassis). Time of shipment, after a contractor receives an order, is 150 days.
