The Department of the Interior Invites you to take advantage of the many opportunities available for participation in its contracting activities.

As a first step, it is imperative that contractors recognize the importance of properly evaluating the terms and conditions of Invitation for Bids, Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and Request for Quotations (RFQ's); of submitting only realistic offers in full accordance with their capabilities and intentions; and, of fulfilling all contratual penalties for default or failure to perform in accordance with contractual requirements.

Acquisition opportunities, through Government contracting, are limited only by the firm's capabilities to deliver a quality product or service, within the required delivery time, and at a fair price.

We hope the Web Portal will assist you, the vendor, in determining how your products or services fit Interior's acquisition requirements. Please note that Interior's operations are DECENTRALIZED and procurement authority rests with individual bureaus and offices.
