Since March 2002, President Bush has met with local volunteers during the course of his travel to communities around the country to recognize them for their dedicated volunteer service. 	President George W. Bush will meet Jade Wright when he arrives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Monday, November 1, 2004. Wright, 17, is an active volunteer and mentor at the Albuquerque Mountainside YMCA.

	President George W. Bush will meet Dr. Larry Smith when he arrives in Gainesville, Florida, on Sunday, October 31, 2004. Smith, 49, is an active volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Northwest Gainesville.

Babu, 21, is a student at The University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Babu founded University of Promise Alliance in 2003 to promote volunteerism among college students and to educate students on the benefits of volunteer service as a means to address social problems.
