Monitoring Summaries

Long-term Data Summary

The following document summarizes measurements taken of many air pollutants by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) in response to the World Trade Center Disaster. Included for each pollutant are pie charts showing how many measurements were below the protective screening level, maps, and discussion of how EPA set the screening level. The summaries reflect data that had been processed and validated through May 29, 2002; dates included in each chart reflect the date of the last validated result for each parameter.

The file is in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. For more information about this format, and to download the free Acrobat Reader program needed to view the summary, please see EPA's PDF page.
