Much of the background work of the National Science Board is done through its committees. By statute, the Board has an Executive Committee (EC), which exercises such functions as are delegated to it by the Board, and such other committees as the Board deems necessary. The Board has three standing committees and establishes other task forces and committees as needed for specific assignments: STANDING COMMITTEES Audit and Oversight (A&O),Education and Human Resources (EHR), and OTHER CURRENT COMMITTEES

Committee on Communication and Outreach (CCO) The NSB Chairman, Vice Chairman and Director, NSF, are ex officio members of all Board committees. Committee chairmen are ex officio members of any subcommittee of the parent committee. |
