Recreational Fisheries Services Branch was established to provide a forum for increased interaction between NOAA Fisheries and the marine recreational fishing community and other agencies involved with marine recreational fishing. Our goal is to improve and strengthen the management and conservation of recreational marine fisheries by establishing partnerships with the recreational fishing organizations and constituents. Through these partnerships, we develop and disseminate information to enhance participation in the stewardship of recreational marine fisheries, organize forums to address policies and issues of concern to the recreational community, and develop initiatives for increased marine fishing opportunities.
