As a Resident Advisor (RA) or peer educator, you are trusted by classmates to provide reliable answers and accurate information, regardless of the topic. The Task Force on College Drinking is reaching out to RAs and peer educators because of your unique status amongst your peers. You have hands-on knowledge that enables you to interpret the report from a different perspective, and you are a very important link between the administration and the student body.
A Call to Action: Changing the Culture of Drinking at U.S. Colleges, the final report of the Task Force of the National Advisory Council on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, provides science-based information and solutions on this important issue. Information in this report and the variety of collateral materials developed, including a brochure specially designed for RAs and peer educators, can assist you in your role on campus.
