Washington, D.C. -- Are you Y2K OK? As the United States, and the world, moves closer to the next millennium, this question is being asked with ever increasing frequency. On May 19, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management will showcase its plans for addressing the Y2K problem.
OPM Director Janice R. Lachance and Deputy Director John Sepulveda will unveil OPM’s Y2K public awareness initiative, including the launching of a new PSA featuring Lachance, which addresses public concerns on this important issue.
“OPM is a leader in Y2K preparedness and we want to make sure our customers know we are Y2K - OK,” said Lachance.
Invited guests include Members of Congress.
