Proposal Guidelines for Brownfields Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund and Cleanup Grants

EPA is accepting proposals for brownfields assessment, revolving loan fund and cleanup grants. These grants are part of the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act to help states and communities around the country clean up and revitalize Brownfield sites. Proposals are due to EPA by November 12, 2004.

Correction Notice
Please note the following two corrections to page 11 of the FY05 Proposal Guidelines for Brownfields Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund, and Cleanup Grants.
1. On page 11, footnote 2, the date should read "...September 30, 2005."
2. On page 11, footnote 5, the correct name of the Act is the "Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act"

Proposal Guidelines for Job Training Grants

EPA is requesting proposals for brownfields job training grants. The goals of the Job Training Program are to prepare trainees for future employment in the environmental field and facilitate cleanup of brownfield sites contaminated with hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants and petroleum. Proposals due January 14, 2005.

Proposal Guidelines for Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance Grants and Cooperative Agreements

These guidelines provide eligible applicants an opportunity to apply for federal funding for brownfields-related training, research or technical assistance. Deadline for applications is November 16, 2004. Please note that applications that are sent via United States Postal Service may not arrive at EPA for several weeks due to the screening and irradiation process necessary for security purposes.
