Science Inventory

The Science Inventory (SI) is a searchable database of EPA science activities and scientific/technical work products.   The Science Inventory provides information about current or recently completed activities, providing a snapshot of what science EPA is conducting in its research laboratories and centers, program and regional offices, and through grants and other assistance agreements to universities and other institutions. The Science Inventory currently contains 5,505 records.

The Science Inventory communicates information to EPA staff and our stakeholders -- academic researchers, state and local governments, private industry, nongovernmental organizations, as well as the general public -- about the science being used to inform environmental decisions and advance the Agency's mission. Science Inventory users can key-word search the database to retrieve metadata records containing brief project descriptions, names to contact for additional information and links to final reports and related topics or records.
