Comment Period
Extended on Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling
of Chemicals White Paper
EPA has extended the comment period on the White Paper entitled, “The
Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals:
Implementation Planning Issues for the Office of Pesticide Programs.”
The Agency announced the availability of the White Paper in a Federal
Register notice published August 25. The original comment period was set
to end on October 25, 2004. Comments, identified by docket identification
(ID) number OPP– 2004–0205, must now be received on or before
December 6, 2004 (45 days after the Federal Register publication date).

Friday, October 22 visit http://www.epa.gov/fedrgstr/. The White Paper
and related materials are available through the docket and are also posted
on EPA's Web site at http://www.epa.gov/oppfead1/international/globalharmon.htm.
An electronic version of the public docket is available through EPA’s
electronic public docket and comment system, EDocket. You may use EDocket
at http://www.epa.gov/edocket/ to submit or view public comments, access
the index listing of the contents of the official public docket, and access
those documents in the public docket that are available electronically.
Once in the system, select ‘‘search,’’ then key
in the appropriate docket ID number.
