State Pesticide Regulatory Agencies Exit EPA disclaimer
These state agencies can help you determine if a pesticide is registered for use in your state, tell you about the specific rules and regulations governing pesticide use in your state, advise if your state requires notification or postings prior to pesticide applications, register a complaint concerning a pesticide misapplication, and also give you information about how to become a certified pesticide applicator.

Tribal Pesticide Programs
EPA works cooperatively with tribal governments to enforce FIFRA, as it does with states and territories. EPA provides funding to tribes to assist in the devlelopment and implementation of pesticide programs under tribal law. EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs coordinates federal efforts related to tribes and pesticides with the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, General Council, other EPA offices, EPA regions and other federal agencies.
