World Water Monitoring Day

Many exciting events are being planned to celebrate World Water Monitoring Day on October 18, 2004. On this day, volunteer water monitors, water agency professionals, school children and citizens from around the world will take to their local streams, lakes, wetlands, and bays to test for water quality as part of the celebration. Monitoring data collected between September 18 and October 18 can be entered onto a database at http://www.worldwatermonitoringday.org.Exit EPA Disclaimer EPA encourages your participation!
