PPIC Overview

PPIC is a free information service of the U.S. EPA dedicated to reducing and eliminating industrial pollutants through technology transfer, source reduction, education and public awareness.

Please help us improve PPIC by filling out the PPIC Customer Survey.
This short survey will help us evaluate and improve PPIC services. Thank you!

PPIC Information Products

Pollution Prevention Resources such as EPA documents and fact sheets dealing with source reduction and pollution prevention are listed on the PPIC Resources page of this web site. This list includes links to EPA and external P2 web sites and is updated quarterly.

The PPIC Archive contains electronic versions of older pollution prevention documents no longer available in hard copy.

The Conference List gives details and contact information for many current and upcoming pollution prevention conferences, workshops and training opportunities.

EPA's Pollution Prevention (P2) Web Site provides general information about P2 policies and programs, P2 technical assistance information and P2 resources. The annual Pollution Prevention Grant Programs information is also featured on this Web site.

Reference and Referral Service

PPIC provides reference and referral between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Reference questions can be submitted via telephone/ voicemail, fax, postal mail, or e-mail. A convenient web form is also avaiable.
