PPIC is a free information service of the U.S. EPA dedicated to reducing
and eliminating industrial pollutants through technology transfer, source
reduction, education and public awareness.

PPIC Information Products
Pollution Prevention Resources such
as EPA documents and fact sheets dealing with source reduction and pollution
prevention are listed on the PPIC Resources
page of this web site. This list includes links to EPA and external P2
web sites and is updated quarterly.
The PPIC Archive contains electronic
versions of older pollution prevention documents no longer available in
hard copy.
The Conference List gives details and
contact information for many current and upcoming pollution prevention
conferences, workshops and training opportunities.
EPA's Pollution Prevention (P2) Web
Site provides general information about P2 policies and programs,
P2 technical assistance information and P2 resources. The annual Pollution
Prevention Grant Programs information is also featured on this Web site.
Reference and Referral Service
PPIC provides reference and referral between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Mondays through Fridays. Reference questions can be submitted via telephone/
voicemail, fax, postal mail, or
e-mail. A convenient web
form is also avaiable.
The Pollution Prevention Special Collection, which is located in the
OPPTS Chemical Library,
includes pollution prevention training materials, conference proceedings,
periodicals, and federal and state government publications. You can search
the collection through the EPA's Online Library System (OLS) by selecting
"Advanced Search", searching "pollution prevention"
as a keyword, and limiting your search to the OPPTS Chemical Library.

Document Distribution Services
PPIC provides pollution prevention resources
