Office of Regional Counsel

The Office of Regional Counsel (ORC) provides legal advice to the Regional Administrator, senior managers, and programs, on all matters relating to their official responsibilities. Additionally, ORC is responsible for the legal aspects of federal enforcement actions. ORC is also responsible for handling legal matters related to the implementation and enforcement of the Superfund program. Region 6 encompasses Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ORC reports directly to the Office of General Counsel (OGC), in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Headquarters, located in Washington, DC.
