Grant Funding Opportunities
The Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) is offering funding
opportunities to non-profit organizations, state, and local governments.
Major areas include educating the business and consumer sector on the
benefits of improving energy performance. CPPD grants address market transformation
projects that will increase public awareness of the health benefits and
cost savings associated with the use of energy efficient products and
services. Other proposals involve regional outreach and education on the
benefits of renewable energy, encouraging state and local governments
to make green power purchases.
Other funding opportunities to be offered in the near future include
grants that will promote opportunities for reducing emissions of methane
and other high global warming gases.
