First Signs is a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating parents and physicians about the early warning signs of autism and other developmental disorders. The site offers information on screening, development, referral, treatment, and resources for parents.

IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association
Organizational activities of this association include promoting the exchange of information in the administration of the IDEA Infant and Toddler Program, providing support to state coordinators, increasing awareness among decision-makers of the needs of children and their families, and providing leadership to help meet the developmental needs of infants & toddlers.

National Association for Child Development NACD
An international organization of parents and professionals dedicated to helping children and adults reach their full potential through the use of innovative techniques and research. The site offers information on the program, information on joining, and publications and resources.

National Association for the Education of Young Children NAEYC
The nation's largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators and others dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade. The site can locate accredited programs by zipcode.

Zero to Three
ZERO TO THREE's mission is to promote the healthy development of our nation's infants and toddlers by supporting and strengthening families, communities, and those who work on their behalf. The site includes resources for parents and professionals.

Federal

Agencies and organizations listed as “Federal” include those that are associated with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Education, or another government agency. Healthy Steps for Young Children Program
The Healthy Steps program is a national initiative that focuses on the importance of the first three years of life and is connected to health care practices. The Healthy Steps approach emphasizes a close relationship between mothers, fathers, and health care professionals in addressing the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth and development of children from birth to age three.

Title V

Tracking, Referral, and Assessment Center for Excellence TRACE

Annual Early Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment Report EPSDT Report

National Survey of Early Childhood Health NSECH

Promoting Healthy Development Survey PHDS-PLUS
PHDS-PLUS, by the Foundation for Accountability, seeks to measure how well pediatric clinicians provide child development health care services through interviewing parents of children aged 4 and under.

California Children and Families Commission
The California Children and Families Act of 1998 is designed to provide, on a community-by-community basis, all children prenatal to five years-of-age with a comprehensive, integrated system of early childhood development services.
