Regional and Country Programs
USAID's democracy activities are concentrated in four regions:
USAID sponsors general democracy activities in each region, as well as programs focusing on specific countries or groups of countries.
In each of the regional sections that follow, you will find a pull-down list of the regional and country democracy activities that USAID sponsors. Each country page also contains links to background information on the country, to its human rights record, and to more specific data on the USAID democracy programs that operate within the country.
