Abstract:
The purpose of this memo is to provide guidance on the relationship
between 1-hour ozone attainment demonstrations and the emissions reductions
that will be achieved by the Tier 2/sulfur (Tier 2) rulemaking and
to provide emissions data related to that rulemaking. This information
should be helpful as EPA works with the States on issues related to
the 1-hour ozone attainment demonstrations and the benefits of the
Tier 2 rulemaking for certain serious and severe ozone nonattainment
areas. |
