Abstract:
This letter prescribes how total suspended particulate (TSP) will be dealt with under 40 CFR 70.2. TSP is a measure of the particulate content of ambient air, is not regulated by any new source performance standards (NSPS), and is not a regulated air pollutant as defined in 40 CFR 70.2. Particulate matter (PM) emissions, however, are regulated by NSPS and are considered a regulated air pollutant under Title V.
