EPA UNVEILS 1996 ORD STRATEGIC PLAN

EPA's Office of Research and Development's Strategic Plan is now available to the public. The ORD Strategic Plan lays out the structure, criteria and process for decision-making on high priority research at EPA, and serves as the basis for the ORD fiscal year 1997 and 1998 budgets. The recent reorganization of ORD is laid out in the plan, reflecting an alignment of EPA's research functions according to "risk assessment/risk management" principles. Copies of the plan are available from the ORD Publications Office, National Risk Management Research Lab, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 26 Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45268; or telephone (513) 569-7566.
