EPA Administrator Browner to Visit Great Miami River in Dayton, to Highlight Success of River Cleanup

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Carol M. Browner will visit the Great Miami River with local officials in Dayton, Ohio at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, May 31. Administrator Browner will highlight the success of the joint effort between federal, state and local officials in cleaning up and restoring the Great Miami River.

WHAT: Tour of Great Miami River. Followed by Remarks on the Success of the Cleanup and Restoration of the Great Miami River.

WHEN: Friday, May 31, 1996

WHERE: Great Miami River
Deeds Point Park

Directions: From downtown Dayton, take First Street East to Webster Street. Turn left on Webster Street. Follow Webster over the River to Deeds Park Drive. Turn left on Deeds Park Drive and drive until the road curves to the right. The press conference will be conducted near this curve in the road.

From Southbound I-75, follow Webster Street exit and turn right. Turn right before River on Deeds Park Drive and drive until the road curves to the right. The press conference will be conducted near this curve in the road.

From Northbound I-75, take First Street exit East (right) through downtown to Webster Street. Follow directions from downtown Dayton.
