SEVEN PROJECT XL AGREEMENTS REACHEDFOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2000 Seven agreements have been reached under EPA’s Project XL program, an initiative designed to test innovative ways of achieving better and less costly public health and environmental protection and greater accountability to stakeholders. Providing flexibility for companies and communities which strive to attain environmental superior results is a key element of Project XL.
