PUBLIC STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS SET FOR NOV. 29-30
TO REVIEW INERT PESTICIDE INGREDIENTS



EPA will hold public meetings of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) on November 29-30. As a preliminary, the PPDC Inert Disclosure Stakeholder Workgroup will meet on November 28. PPDC is an advisory committee which provides a forum for a diverse group of stakeholders, including environmental/public interest and consumer groups, industry and trade associations, pesticide users, Federal and State/local governments, academia and public health organizations. The forum supplies advice and recommendations to EPA regarding a broad range of pesticide regulatory development and program implementation issues associated with evaluating and reducing risks from use of pesticides. The PPDC Inert Disclosure Stakeholder Workgroup meeting on Nov. 28 will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The PPDC full committee meeting on Nov. 29 will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public meetings will be held at the Radisson Hotel Old Town, 901 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Va.
