HAZARDOUS WASTE TRANSPORTER PLEADS GUILTY

According to the plea agreement, Satterfield faces a maximum of up to five years imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $250,000. The plea agreement also recommends that he make restitution to persons and agencies who were required to properly dispose of the wastes he improperly stored. The case was investigated by EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division, the FBI, the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Maryland State Police.
