Browner will address the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997 at 12:00 p.m. Browner will mark the 25th anniversary of the Clean Water Act -- one of the nation’s most successful pieces of environmental legislation -- and the progress made in protecting Florida’s vital water resources. Browner will also discuss the President’s recent announcement of the United States’ position on protecting public health and the environment by curbing global warming, and other environmental issues of importance to South Florida, including Clinton Administration efforts to protect the Florida Everglades.
