Models-3 Air Quality Modeling System

The primary goals for the Models-3/Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) modeling system are to improve 1) the environmental management community’s ability to evaluate the impact of air quality management practices for multiple pollutants at multiple scales and 2) the scientist’s ability to better probe, understand, and simulate chemical and physical interactions in the atmosphere. The newest Models-3/CMAQ version 4.4 now available for download from the CMAS Website. Exit EPA Disclaimer

Information about the changes to the new model and release notes are now available from the "Release Notes" link on the left side of this page.  In addition, presentations are available on the performance evaluation for the CMAQ 4.4 release from the 3rd Annual CMAS Workshop Exit EPA Disclaimer, Session 2, held October 18 - 20, 2004.

Information about the upcoming 2004 CMAS workshop on October 18 - 20, 2004 will be posted on the Community Modeling and Analysis Systems (CMAS) Exit EPA Disclaimer website. Tutorial and Training course information for Model-3/CMAQ and related products can also be found on the CMAS website.
