PA EPA’s NEW CHEMICALS PROGRAM RECOGNIZED FOR REGULATORY REINVENTION PROJECTFOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, 1997 EPA’s New Chemicals Program will be recognized for its role in supporting industry efforts to develop environmentally friendly chemicals at an awards ceremony scheduled for Dec. 18, 9:30 a.m. at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The program is receiving a Vice Presidential Hammer Award for its involvement in promoting the development of a new detergent product that reduces environmental pollution.
