EPA ADMINISTRATOR BROWNER TO PARTICIPATE IN
NATIONAL PRESS CLUB FORUM ON CLEAN AIR PROPOSALS
MEDIA ADVISORY


U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will participate in a National Press Club forum on EPA's proposal to strengthen health-based standards for smog and soot on Wednesday, May 28, at 10 a.m. Browner will address the importance to the American people of strong public health standards, and the current national debate over the appropriate standards for smog and soot.
Other forum participants include: C. Boyden Gray, Partner, Wilmer, Cutler and Pickering; Dr. Alfred Munzer, Director, Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine at the Washington Adventist Hospital; and Dr. Harvey Alter, Manager of the Resources Policy Department of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
