U.S. ADMINISTRATOR BROWNER ANNOUNCES A NEW, STRENGTHENED FEDERAL ACTION PLAN AIMED AT RESTORING
THE CHESAPEAKE BAY REGION



U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will announce a new, strengthened federal action plan aimed at restoring the Chesapeake Bay Region at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. Administrator Browner will be joined by high-level officials from 20 federal agencies in unveiling these new initiatives which build on the Clinton Administration’s Clean Water Action Plan and other efforts to protect public health and the environment in the Bay Region.

Directions from 395: Take 395 to South Capitol Street exit. Bear right onto the access road which runs along side South Capitol Street, and take a right on M Street and then a left on 4th Street. Follow 4th Street as it curves sharply to the left. Immediately following the curve, Fort McNair will be on the right.
