ADMINISTRATOR BROWNER TO ANNOUNCE PRESIDENT CLINTON’S
FY2000 BUDGET FOR EPA


EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will announce President Clinton’s Fiscal Year 2000 budget request for the Agency on Monday, Feb. 1, at 12 p.m, noon. Browner will outline the President’s budget proposals to protect public health and the environment. Browner will also discuss new and ongoing initiatives that use innovative financial tools and other programs to ensure healthy strong communities across America for the 21st Century. These new initiatives leverage resources to build strong communities and local economies.

WHERE: EPA Auditorium, near the Northwest Mall Entrance 401 M St. S.W.

Exit subway; proceed through mall to opposite exit; auditorium is to the immediate left.
