ACHIEVEMENT TRACK CHARTER MEMBERS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON DEC. 13

ACHIEVEMENT TRACK CHARTER MEMBERS
TO BE ANNOUNCED ON DEC. 13


On Dec. 13, EPA will announce the charter members of the National Environmental Achievement Track, the first level of the new National Environmental Performance Track. The program recognizes corporations or individual facilities for: exceeding the requirements of environmental laws, having outstanding compliance records and comprehensive environmental management systems, and freely sharing environmental information
with local communities. The charter members will serve as models for other companies and facilities that are striving for environmental progress and community leadership. Over 200 facilities and companies applied for admission to the program. The announcement of the charter members will be made at the Washington Hilton Hotel in a ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. Officials of the charter members for the Achievement Track will be in attendance.
