Georgia Water Resources Conference

2005 Georgia Water Resources Conference

April 25-27, 2005

Call for Papers

Short abstracts due September 30, 2004

The ninth biennial conference will be held on April 25-27, 2005, at the University of Georgia. The conference is an open forum for the discussion of current water policies, research, projects, and water management in Georgia. Abstracts and proposals for sessions/panels/workshops/exhibits are sought on any topics related to Georgia water, especially those addressing the conference theme and the State of Georgia's effort to prepare a state water plan.

Because Georgia's water resources are precious and vital to the support of the state's economy, the protection of public health, the welfare of our natural systems, and the enhancement of the quality of life for all citizens, it is critical for the state to ensure their sustainable management.

Governor Sonny Perdue
