Overview

The CDC Entertainment Education Program works in partnership with Hollywood, Health & Society at the University of Southern California's Norman Lear Center to provide expert consultation and resources for writers and producers who develop scripts with health storylines and information. If you are a writer or producer working on a current TV or film project, you may Contact the program (shaivitz@usc.edu) for technical assistance.

Tip Sheets for TV Writers and Producers

CDC Tip Sheets for TV Writers and Producers include easy-to-use, credible information on the nation's most pressing health and social issues - topics that make for compelling drama and storylines. You will find case examples, important tips for scripts and sources for more information.

Consultation on Health Storylines and Facts

You may request accurate health and medical information, or talk to an expert who can provide medical facts, professional perspective and case examples on a wide range of public health issues, procedures, and campaign topics:
