Partners
EPA is recruiting partners to participate in Clean
School Bus USA. Some of the ways organizations can contribute include:
- Spreading the word that Clean School Bus USA is a common-sense way
to approach a solvable problem.
- Lending their organization's name and expertise to this effort.
- Mentoring school districts and/or school bus fleet managers who want
to start an anti-idling, retrofit, or replacement program.
- Using their public relations expertise to develop and implement a
communications strategy.
- Using their corporate project management and implementation know-how
to lead this effort to success.
- Providing incentives for anti-idling or school bus upgrade programs
in communities where their company or organization operates.
- Chairing an adopt-a-school bus or other related program.
- Directly funding a school bus retrofit or replacement project.
- Using their organization's networking resources to bring the right
people together at the local level.
- Sponsoring workshops that bring fleet owners and operators together
with technical experts who can help them retrofit or replace their fleets.
- Most importantly, bringing creative ideas to this process.
