Partners

EPA is recruiting partners to participate in Clean School Bus USA. Some of the ways organizations can contribute include:

  • Spreading the word that Clean School Bus USA is a common-sense way to approach a solvable problem.
  • Lending their organization's name and expertise to this effort.
  • Mentoring school districts and/or school bus fleet managers who want to start an anti-idling, retrofit, or replacement program.
  • Using their public relations expertise to develop and implement a communications strategy.
  • Using their corporate project management and implementation know-how to lead this effort to success.
  • Providing incentives for anti-idling or school bus upgrade programs in communities where their company or organization operates.
  • Chairing an adopt-a-school bus or other related program.
  • Directly funding a school bus retrofit or replacement project.
  • Using their organization's networking resources to bring the right people together at the local level.
  • Sponsoring workshops that bring fleet owners and operators together with technical experts who can help them retrofit or replace their fleets.
  • Most importantly, bringing creative ideas to this process.
