What is the Environmental Finance Program?
A) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has developed the Environmental
Finance Program to assist communities in their search for creative approaches
to funding their environmental projects.
The Environmental Finance Program provides financial technical assistance to
the regulated community and advice and recommendations to the Agency on
environmental finance issues, trends, and options. Further information is

Does the Environmental Financing Information Network (EFIN) make loans, grants
or supply any financial assistance?
A) No, EFIN acts as a referral service for those seeking assistance with
environmental projects. EFIN does not administer loans or grants.

How can I get a copy of the Guidebook of Financial Tools?
A) The Guidebook of Financial Tools is currently only available in electronic format on the
Environmental Finance Program website at:

Is there an online listing of all Federal Government grants?
A) Yes, The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance lists approximately 1499
federal Assistance programs. It can be searched at:
