A Guidebook of Financial Tools

What is the Guidebook?

A Guidebook of Financial Tools: Paying for Sustainable Environmental Systems   (April 1999 revision), has been produced by the Environmental Financial Advisory Board and the Environmental Finance Center Network .

A list of proposed new tools, including existing financial tools not included in this revision, can be found in Appendix A: Proposed Tools for the Next Guidebook.

Versions of the Guidebook:

The Guidebook is currently available in PDF format:
  • The PDF (Adobe Acrobat) version is intended for printing purposes and we recommend saving the two largest files to disk rather than viewing them on screen.
Navigating the Guidebook:

The Guidebook is loaded in sections. There is a link back to the Table of Contents at the end of each section. Sections 1.A.1 and 1.A.2 can be accessed from Section 1.A's introduction page. The links to the sections are underlined.
