Emerging Infectious Diseases is published in English. Spanish, French, and Chinese translations of some articles can be accessed at http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/trans.htm Articles by authors from non-Englishspeaking countries can be made simultaneously available in English and in the author's native language (electronic version of the journal only). The journal features the following types of articles: Perspectives, Synopses, Research Studies, Policy and Historical Reviews, Dispatches, Commentaries, Another Dimension, Letters, Book Reviews, and News and Notes.
