National Drinking Water Advisory Council: Consumer Confidence Working Group
Mission Statement for Working Group
The Working Group will bring the concerns of stakeholders to bear on EPA's process and will
identify issues and strategies for implementing the Consumer Confidence Report provision of the
1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act. In its deliberations, the group will seek to
develop a consensus in making recommendations to the National Drinking Water Advisory
Council on the proposed rule, model report(s), health effects language, and guidance to utilities
through the review of draft documents.
