* undr: Pre-College and Undergraduate Students; grad: Graduate Students;
  postdoc: Postdoctoral Researchers; and PI: Principal Investigators

NOTE that few programs accept direct applications from students or postdoctoral researchers. In most cases, student and postdoctoral researcher participation can be included in proposals submitted by principal investigators.

** If a proposal will be submitted to another NSF program, or will be considered jointly by INT and another program, it is important to follow the guidelines, including deadline dates, of the non-INT program.

*** Eligibility depends on the number of years one has held the doctoral degree.
