Guidance/Request for Proposals
Up to $4,180,000 for Great Lakes projects addressing Contaminated
Sediments, Pollution Prevention and Toxic Reduction, Habitat (Ecological)
Protection and Restoration, Invasive Species, Strategic or Emerging
Issues, and Other Lakewide Management Plan or Remedial Action Plan (LaMP/RAP)
Priorities. Applicants submitted 265
proposals requesting approximately $25 million.
77 projects totaling $3.8 M have
been selected.
- Great Lakes Legacy Act Request
for Projects By
the March 31, 2004 due date 14 projects totaling $80 million were
submitted for the FY2004 appropriation of $10 million. These submittals
are EPA's first priority for existing Legacy Act funding, and may be
considered for any FY05 appropriation. Additional project ideas may be
considered as time and resources allow. Interested applicants may

to discuss that possibility.
- In FY2003, USEPA's Great Lakes program issued awards for 106 projects,
most through its 2003 - 2004 Request for Proposals/Funding Guidance.
Under the Funding Guidance, GLNPO received 340 proposals and selected 92.
