The Children's Bureau awards funds both to States on a formula basis and to individual organizations that successfully apply for discretionary funds. For discretionary grants, the Children's Bureau submits to the Federal Register an announcement of funds available, the primary areas of focus, and the method of application.

Examples include grants for research, evaluation, program development, and/or technical assistance. The following information contains the names and dollar amounts award winners received.
