Download/Installation
Options
There are two versions of I-BEAM
available.
- Complete I-BEAM is self contained.
Once you install Complete I-BEAM, all of
I-BEAM's files are available locally on your
computer. Complete I-BEAM does not require
an open web connection to operate. User
should periodically check this website to
obtain updated versions of I-BEAM.
- Web I-BEAM requires a web connection.
Only the operating program of I-BEAM is
installed onto your computer. Web I-BEAM
uses approximately half the disk space as
the complete version. However, you must have
an open web connection to operate I-BEAM so
that the operating program can access I-BEAM
files. User automatically uses the most
recent I-BEAM files as they are
updated.
Currently, you can only download
I-BEAM
Download I-BEAM if
you wish to have I-BEAM available on a
network to install onto more than one
computer, or to copy I-BEAM to a disk for
installation on other computers. The
download option downloads I-BEAM, plus the
other programs needed to operate I-BEAM,
along with the installation program and
instructions.
You can choose one of the
following download/installation options
Important Information:
Depending on the speed of your
internet connection, downloading or
installation may take anywhere from several
minutes to several hours. During this time,
your computer may appear to be frozen.
Please do not reboot until the
download/installation program prompts you
to.
After installation, when you
reboot, your computer may take longer than
usual to come up. This is normal. Please be
patient as your computer adjusts to
accommodate I-BEAM.
